The fact that he was left on the bench while Patrick and Ruckert were allowed to learn on the fly late in the season should tell us a lot. Either he wasn’t as close as either of them to being ready for the SEC, or he was overrated and just doesn’t have SEC ability. If the staff thought he was close, he would have gotten plenty of reps, too.

I hope we go a little lighter in the portal going forward - with our coaches and facilities the focus still needs to be on developing guys out of high school

Maybe with the potential MLB lockout, we can get a few more of our signing class to campus versus the draft. There’s some great talent in our signing class.

Just watched LJ Cormier from Auburn with a Bama dad strike out Will Furniss from Ole Miss with an LSU dad.

Lance had one of the best high school curveballs I ever saw.

Sam Taulli and Billy McBride went to LSU and Cormier went to Bama.
