My prediction for the rest of the season. It’s not a turnaround but a playing close to expectations.
That puts them soundly in the SEC race (23-7) and up for a National seed.

Had to edit. Missed the AU series. They won’t lose the last series at home.

They go to MSU, MO, Alabama and Arky. They will win in columbia snd Tuscaloser. That’ll give them confidence. UF isn’t all that and neither are AU., Ole Miss and MSU.
LSU has the best pitching staff in the conference and pitching and defense wins championships.
The missing pieces will be back by the end of April for a ride through the month of May.

More than 20 losses IMO, very undisciplined at the plate.

SEC West is frickin strong this year. We just lost 2/3 to what is the best pitching team in the East. I say we still finish just above .500 in SEC play this year because our pitching is still not consistent enough.

Georgia's pitchers had the lowest ERA in the SEC coming into this weekend.

Today's 7 earned runs that they gave up to LSU ties for the most earned runs their pitching staff has given up in any game this season.

I'll say just above .500 due to lack of offensive geaux power in the last 4 of the batting order and the inaccurate noodle arm behind the plate, whichever one happens to be manning the position. If magic occurs and Sah-ool develops into 85% of the hitter the coaches thought he would maybe .666 win %age. Some of this is a joke, some isn't, you decipher, I hope for better. That said, Hess spoke volumes to me this weekend, he gives a fighting chance on Fridays now.

All I know is the staff is becoming we I thought it would be overall. Difference is Henry looks like a future stud that was never even in consideration for me.

This team will hit eventually. Omaha is every much on the table.

ETA: Henry and Marceaux put LSU in a pretty nice spot going forward (next two years). As long as they’re both patient.
