Is Jaden Hill getting some scheduled rest?

Over the last 2 scrimmages he's 5-6 with 2 doubles and a stolen base. He's doing everything he can to get some playing time at 3rd base.

surprised Jaden Hill isn't up there with the leaders in pitching stats.

Also how is Braden Doughty leading the team in batting average

He was only mentioned in the first two scrimmage stat posts. He's usually at the bottom of the order for whichever team he's on. I would guess those first couple scrimmages combined with a lower AB total has kept his average elevated.

He entered the transfer portal and then subsequently removed his name from the portal a few weeks later.

I asked Jamie Tutko that question. He told me Braden Doughty is having a great Fall season at the plate.

Both the great batting avg and great pitching ERAs don’t really compute...seeing as we’re playing against ourselves. Maybe a tiny bit of cherry picking?

Well, there are 37 guys participating in fall practice and they're giving the top 5 in a few selected statistical categories. The cherry picking is a feature, not a bug.

Well we are only seeing stats for a few players, guessing they didnt want to release the stats of the guys hitting .200

Wring Doughty. Braden was a high draft prospect that chose LSU.
