It was so hot lol my wife and I will never forget this game because of the heat.

There was a chick that passed out behind us. I can't remember if it happened before the game started or if it was at half time. Fun times

Constantly think about this game and point back to the moment you could tell something special was brewing in BR with Burrow at QB. Will never forget this game, and it may be my very most favorite LSU-Auburn contest.

Also so noteworthy that this is our only game-winning, walk-off field goal in regulation

I was at the game right behind the LSU bench3 rows up. it was a freaking oven. We got the tickets on the way to the game and apparently whoever had them went up to a suite or something.

It was so damn hot that everyone in the section would just buy all the water they could and hand it out to everyone, regardless of whether you were Auburn or LSU fan. We went up on a water run in 4th Qtr for everyone and they actually ran out of damn water bottles, so I got outvoted and we ended up watching end of the game at my sons apt.

It was a great game but by the 4th Qtr but teams were completely gassed, that heat was freaking oppressive, everyone was drenched with sweat.

Joe Burrow was clearly in command though

The 2006 LSU-Miss State game was among the hottest I've ever attended. Was a jefferson pilot 11am kickoff and brutal.

The 2015 Auburn game where Fournette ran all over them was probably top 5 hottest games.

Monday night game against Tennessee in '05 was also god awful.

Horrible take.
We've been playing UF every year since '53 (except 68-70)
Epic rivalry
Auburn since '92 but so much passion on both sides

these games are always a classic

Two notable exceptions were 2014 and 2020 vs Auburn. Those games, to use the technical description, were sh*tefests.

2006 LSU-Miss State game

It was hot as the hinges of Hades in the first half, and LSU and Jamarcus Russell started out like a house afire. I think it was 35-0 at one time. Then the rains came and thunder delays. It just seemed to get hotter when the game resumed and the humidity reached pathologic proportions.

1992 A&M as the hottest LSU game

Yea that one was brutal, and LSU lost. Gave a good effort against one of the best teams in the country but still lost

Of interesting note is this is the only game in LSU history where the Tigers kicked a GW FG on the final play of the game when behind prior to the FGA.

I saw a lot of road losses including Auburn in 2016. This was the first road win I saw and it was just a hell of a feeling.

As everyone says, that was the first sign we had something at QB.

Would rather play Aubie or UF any day before Aggots.
