Oh we’re on the same page. They thought just having a concourse would set it apart and the bleachers not being upgraded in over 12 years is a joke.

So you’d rather sit on the ground than in seats? I agree the bleachers need to be replaced with individual seats but I will never understand why everyone goes apeshit over a hill of grass. There is absolutely nothing special about a berm and I’m glad we don’t have one.

Ole miss and UK both had party things in their outfield way before we decided to construct the new box.
we purposely decided against that and putting in the old bleachers from the box because we are uncreative. They had plenty of other stadiums to get ideas from, instead LSU decided to move the old box a few football fields down the road, put in a nice new club area and locker room and call it a day after that.
To make it worse we haven't done shite to fix it in 12 years. Its pathetic management by the AD starting with Skip, followed by Joe and now somehow little SJW Scotty is becoming worse than all of them.

Yes, you put it there for students and make it a party area. Students don't need chair backs, you allow coolers and stuff and make it a fun area that can be packed and rowdy

None of that would be that damn expensive and would significantly improve the aesthetics and atmosphere.
I agree with all of this, and commend you for not including the word “berm” anywhere in these upgrades.

Probably due but not exactly a great year for it, and it’s maybe not our top priority.

Even more of a reason not to have one IMO. We don’t need a berm just because Ole Miss and Arky have them. I’d rather be more unique than that.

the three prior years to 2020 were great times to be making additions and fixes. It is also dumb to let all of our facilities fall by the wayside.

perhaps a pool then. we could have a pool and party area like the d-backs and the old zephyr park had.

They also need to paint the steel beams on the outside of the sideline bleacher structures to match that of the overhang/concourse. Just another simple thing that I don’t know how they overlooked. And on the inside of that same area they have that ugly aluminum panels that separate the two levels. That needs to be brick or something.

what it is almost the exact same dimensions as the old box, it has an extended grand stand and they added a club to it and then they brought over the old bleachers and put them in
