Anybody think there is any chance CBS makes this a primetime kickoff again for us since it will probably be a Top 3 matchup??

I say all of TD nation start emailing CBS now asking for them to change the time of the game now.

I mean what do they have to lose? There aren't any other games going on Friday and contract stuff they have to worry about.

Here's to a night game in Tiger Stadium Friday night!

i hate to say this but no chance. they already sold their soul to the devil for the bama game to be at night. im sure they are contracted to show something else that night that might have nothing to do with sports

It already is primetime. Black Friday as soon as all the sales end and the only game on at the time. They won't even talk about moving it.

While there is no fricking way it happens, it is interesting that there are no conflicting SEC games on any network Friday. ABC/ESPN might not factor in at all...

It would be fun to see if ESPN could just go ahead and do their switcharoo with CBS now instead of hoping a game of such magnitude exists next year.

I would say it was impossible, but I thought the same thing for the primetime kickoff for the bama game

Your logic is perfect. However, AK will hate it, and contracts and arbitrariness by Media execs are going to determine this. It both coincide, it will happen. But I do agree that Tigers should push for the move considering it is bigger than any game this year thus far. This could sway some arbitrary executives to have second thoughts. I'll join you with e-mails to CBS and ESPN. I mean their addresses are: LINK and LINK It will take a little work, but it could be worth it.

I sent an email to CBS just for shits, but I don't think ESPN comes into play here, so I didn't bother with them. Still doubt it happens, but it's worth a 5 minute email.

I'm with you but it's going to be at 2:30.

I already sent in my brief, polite requests. The most critical one is CBS, obviously.

And then you wonder why ESPN/CBS/media hates LSU or disrespects the team. They probably will be working on a TRO against the fanbase now...

LOL they probably like stuff like this. They can take it to advertisers showing them how rabid these viewers are, and ask for more money.

Rabid fans have kept several television shows on the air in loosely similar ways.

And at the very least I doubt these execs let stuff like this seriously impact their professionalism.

I dont think CBS would have a problem with it but other networks will definitly have a problem with it i.e. ABC/ESPN given that without a doubt their primetime lineup would be overshadowed by LSU vs Arkansas.
