Arkansas or Ole Miss will probably wind up playing Tech in Shreveport on a 2-1 deal just to get closer to the talent in N. LA - might be nice to beat them to it and play one there before they do...

Yep. Tx A&M isn't ignoring it.

That's from today's Shreveport Times.

If LSU acts like the idiots on this board do and ignores North La or just flat out disses it the way some of you morons tend to, we are fricked recruiting up here. Cut the top recruits we will get in half and count them as Bama recruits.

I'd be willing to bet a HUGE amount of money that the LSU coaching staff does not have the same attitude about North LA that some on this message board do. Things that are said on this board don't have a whole lot to do with the everyday goings on at the football complex.

within 15-20 years Tech will eclipse LSU as the flagship program in the state. Yeah I said it.

How in the hell is that going to happen if you can't hang onto your coaches?

Man, Tech fans are delusional. They were convinced that Dooley was going to turn them into another Boise.

Cue the Tech defenders.

I remember several comments geared towards Dooley being there for the long haul and that he wasn't just using Tech as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. Well folks, that's exactly what he did. At the end of the day, money and job prestige win out.

Just yesterday on their board a vast majority of them were still sticking to it. Some of them were even talking about Dooley coaching there for 30 years and expanding their stadium to 85,000.

They can't even fill a 20,000 seat stadium

Ya'll could meet in the middle and play at Pineville High School. Or I hear Louisiana College has a new stadium.

We play McNeese in the upcoming season. I hope that doesn't lead to threads popping up with Cowboys fans demanding LSU comes to Lake Charles...

I read a lot of dumb crap on here, but I tend to remember the more asinine posts like this one.

Some random lsu fan bumping a month old thread about a "lower" in-state school. I'm actually surprised about the amount of attention latech is getting this morning. May be some lsu fans were worrying about latech???

Actually, this post I'm referring to was obviously a weak flame attempt hence the bump. As far as the attention, their coach is leaving for an SEC school that will play in TS next season. Not to mention he onced coached at LSU. I don't think it's that hard to understand....
