Obviously they think they're relevant because they're basically on LSU's level, LSU trembles when they play them and its definitely not a honor. They've accomplished more than LSU the past ten years, hell their entire history...

Yea, they should since their program is so irrelevant. Accomplish something, then maybe you can feel like you deserve to be on the same field.

It's not just about Shreveport and Tech. You also have to factor in all of North LA, which has sent many players to LSU over the years. I don't think LSU should play there, but it's not as absurd as most are saying here. Evangel, West Monroe, Longview, and Tyler Texas are all within an hour and a half of Indy. Some recruits that don't get to see LSU live would get the opportunity. I do agree that I would rather play in Jerry's World though.

As much as I hate to do this... I live around Shreveport and have forever. I'm an LSU grad and obviously ravenous fan for life. I've got a perspective on this that folks in Baton Rouge do NOT have.

I was at that Tech v Miami game. And I hate Tech. And even with Miami there they didn't fill the stadium or even get close to it. Was a good game though. If it was against LSU it would sell out instantly but who cares? It's not an SEC level venue.

The reason LSU should consider actually doing this game some time is that there is a LOT of talent up here. East Texas, North La... Evangel, Haynesville, West Monroe, Bastrop, the east Tx teams... you ignore that and we're going to have to worry about Saban stealing the Reuben Randles, A.Battles, Matt Flynns, Jacob Hesters, hell the list is endless and will continue to be. And Saban knew it and he's still got those relationships up here and after he wins an NC, he's going to be back with a vengeance if he sees a top recruit up here.

If LSU acts like the idiots on this board do and ignores North La or just flat out disses it the way some of you morons tend to, we are fricked recruiting up here. Cut the top recruits we will get in half and count them as Bama recruits.

That right there is reason enough to take the hit one day and play in Shreveport.

And whoever said that Tech doesn't hate LSU is delusional. These people have the most jacked up hate for LSU of anybody. They are completely delusional about their program and EVERYTHING is LSU's fault according to them. I can't stand being around Tech fans and I've got to live amongst them.

Anyway... you can hate on Shreveport all you like, but you take it for granted at a very high price for our team. And the more you dumbasses dis it, the worse you're making it for LSU because those kids read this board. Hell, I'm an alumni and you even annoy me with that ignorant garbage. So just attempt to shut up when that dumbass urge comes over you. We BARELY got Randle last year. Remember that.
