We pay Tech $750,000 to play us. We therefore make the rules! Any questions?

Tech doesn't sell out because it's an average WAC team in Ruston, LA and previous AD haven't really done anything to try to boost ticket sales or interest.

Dooley is at least trying to bring the program up.

That game would have 0 plus side for LSU. Playing Tulane gave LSU exposure in Nola where they regularly recruit...Shreveport is too far from TX and no one really comes out of that area. The stadium sucks and there is no money in it!

This is just full of fail. No one comes out of Shreveport? Are you kidding? Too far from TX? What the frick are you talking about? Also when was the last time any of you have been to Indy? If it was when LSU played then you have no idea the upgrades they made. The stadium is infinitely better now.

The stadium still only seats a little over 50,000, which is around 42,000 less than Tiger Stadium. There is NO reason to play there.

I was there recently on business regarding the Haynesville. Has Shreveport improved over the last decade? Certainly. Do I want to spend my weekend there? No thank you. Bottomline: LSU would have nothing to gain by playing an in-state school in Shreveport.

If LSU played Tulane in New Orleans, they could make one trip to Shreveport to play La Tech!

LSU got the rights to 35,000 tickets as their own in the Dome. We got that money. No comparison. Having all the tickets at Indy Bowl would not be worth as much.

Why is everything about LSU?

LSU needs to stop being so selfish.

Fact: Shreveport is a 25 minute drive from the Texas border

Fact: Matt Flynn is from Tyler, TX

Fact: Arnez Battle is from Shreveport

Fact: you FAIL

I've been to every Indy bowl since 1994. Also attended a high school playoff game there in 2002.

First of all, I never said that. Second of all, I'd much rather watch LSU play in Dallas if they are trying to rake in recruits. LSU once signed a guy from Canada. Should they go play a game there?

Maybe 5% of the Tech students talk shite about LSU.

LSU students talk about Tech way more than Tech students talk about LSU.

Every time Tech is mentioned on this site, there are pages full of douches mocking Tech. Why? Have y'all become so insecure now that y'all have to mock smaller in-state universities?

Laugh all you want, but this delusion that all Tech students are jealous of LSU is absurd.

I don't think that's the case at all. I have several good friends that graduated from Tech and they love LSU. Same goes with ULL. Unfortunately, the loud minority ruins it for everyone.
