Also, those thugs did something that lsu will never have the balls to do....play us in Shreveport. Big time programs that will play us in Ruston or Shreveport....I have respect for them.

Why does it have to be in Shreveport? Oh yea-- you can only hold 30,000 in yours.

it's a privilege for Tech to get to play LSU, not the other way around. if LSU plays a non-SEC road game it's going to be against a worthy opponent. no reason to shite away an OOC game on a team that will earn you minimal income from ticket sales and TV ratings.

It would not make sense/cents for LSU to play a regular season game in Shreveport against an inferior in-state opponent.

If LSU played Tulane in New Orleans, they could make one trip to Shreveport to play La Tech!

drive an hour to play in the Superdome > drive 4 hours to play at the Indy Bowl

Did you get this off that Tech message board Bulldog Barks and Bytes?

That place is chock full of delusion.

Go there next year during the season. You will laugh, I promise.

That deal sucked, why would LSU want to repeat that mistake. Besides, LSU and Tulane have a significant history unlike LSU and La Tech. At one point in time, LSU and Tulane were even considered "rivals". It's not a very comparable situation IMO.

Yep, and it looks like there's still a good laugh here and there during the offseason.

I visit it regularly. I have never seen such a wretch hive of bitterness and fantasy.

why would LSU give up the millions generated by a home game to play Tech in a shithole.

Good question, logical. Logic, however, has no place in the thought process of a Tech fan.

Beats the hell out of me. At least with the crappy Tulane deal LSU played in an NFL stadium in a fun city against a conference USA opponent.

Why would anyone want to go to Shreveport to watch a game? Thats like punishment.

If you suck in the SEC, you go to Shreveport.

This is why I hate la tech fans. Why would u give up money to play in shitport? Maybe in the early 90's when we sucked. It doesn't make any sense.

That game would have 0 plus side for LSU. Playing Tulane gave LSU exposure in Nola where they regularly recruit...Shreveport is too far from TX and no one really comes out of that area. The stadium sucks and there is no money in it!

The thing that sucks about this year's game between LSU and La Tech being close is that La Tech fans now assure themselves that they are our equals. That game proved it. Forget that LSU didn't give a shite and Jarrett Lee was our QB.

I'm sure if La Tech would pay LSU $5 million to play in Shreveport (the amount of money we'd lose by giving up a TS game), then I'm sure LSU would agree.

Tech comes here because we pay them more than they can make off playing a Tech-esque type team in Shreveport.

The powers-that-be saw what Tech did to LSU in BR this year and there is no way in hell they are going to Shreveport or N. Louisiana and risk Tech beating LSU. You saw the wave of the future this year with Tech almost handling LSU and within 15-20 years Tech will eclipse LSU as the flagship program in the state. Yeah I said it.
