I think we are over valuing what his impact would be. We have quite a few bigs who are gone after the season. He’s just a freshman. Maybe maybe redshirting him with a full house isn’t the worst thing

Baker with 22, LSU shooting 60%, about as good as LSU can play. Have to keep it up in the 2nd

Once had a coach make the entire team shoot 10 FTs at the end of a few practices, with everyone on the baseline set to run a full gasser after each miss.
Had to close out with two in a row, or you kept shooting.

I get it, but arguably this team’s biggest weakness has been a lack of physicality inside. He probably adds a few Ws to this squad’s record, not gonna lie.
I understand the decision though, playing the long game. Next year could be a nice roster.

Baker drives me crazy how weak he is with ball. Can’t rebound, can’t hold it. Has really weak hands
