how about the refs bailing us out when Mays lost the ball against their press? There are bad calls that go both ways. Grow up.

I just couldn't believe we would allow them to drive all the way to the basket with no one to contest the player.

No shite! Put Watford there to run 8 feet away from him?

You know how I know you are dumbass. We just lost to the number 11 team on the road in OT. The world’s average IQ would jump up substantially if you would no longer exist.

And should it have ever gone to OT? You’re happy with the performance?

Gold or silver for your participation trophy?

most of their 3s were contested coming off moving screens.
we defended those screens horribly. Our big guy didn't step up far enough, and our ball defender slid under rather than fight over.

We all know Auburn is a 3-point shooting team. Defend the damn arc.

We have to find ways to actually close games out when we have a significant lead but we haven't really done that all year so I don't know if that changes anytime soon.

Watford is 6 frickin foot 9 and yet he backed away from a much smaller player letting him go straight to the goal, that's fricking pathetic.

Exactly. He's 6'9 guarding a point/shooting guard on the Inbound. There's no possible way Watford is going to keep up with him. Williams had a chance to stand straight up and make him pull up for a deep shot from outside the paint. He let him drive right past him. Earlier in the game he missed a free throw that would've made it a 7 point lead. Two chances to win right there. And how the frick does Mays not pass the ball to Taylor or Watford rather than trying to spin with the fricking ball and turning it over. Such a retarded decision.

Auburn is not a good 3-point shooting team this year. Against us, even guys with percentages less than 30 drain them.

Happy with performance? Yes and No. Thinking this team needs a miracle to make the tournament makes you just plain stupid.

they're second in the SEC in 3-pointers attempted. It's their game. They can get hot. Got to defend the arc.

And why do you think poor shooters were draining shots against us? Could it be that our bad D was giving them open looks?

Man, that's retarded what you just said about Watford not keeping up with him. Watch the damn replay again, Watford isn't some slow footed, big, lethargic 6'9 forward, he's still a young skinny kid that hasn't filled all the way in the body. He was keeping up with him easily, he just played lousy defense in backing away from the much smaller Auburn PG and letting him easily go straight to the goal uncontested for an easy damn floater, that's horrible D anyway you look at it. He's 6'9 once again, you guard him close all the way down and block the damn shot, it's not rocket science.

This game is on Will Wade. The problems we’ve had closing games all season are still here and all he has to do is call a timeout when he sees them coming to trap Mays in regulation and we win.

He just gets caught up watching the game too much in end of game situations.

At a certain point it lands on his shoulders and that point is TODAY.

true, especially the inability to defend the arc. Our ball screen defense was horrible, and we gave Auburn many clean looks.

It's simple to defend more tightly on those screens.

Don't they work on that kind of stuff in practice? Especially against a team that lives and dies off the 3-point shot?
