Same here. I get excited every game thinking they’ll show some potential for a run in postseason, but it’s been tough to watch.

This is really feeling like the Smoke ending, and I really liked him. He was so casual and a great recruiting guy. A true baseball man. He was SO baseball, that he was truthful when he said that he felt that it was hard when "guys had the worst years of their careers at he same time." Unfortunately for him, and every coach in every sport, this gets them fired. This seems to be happening to Paul now.Paul blamed himself for his complacency in 2010. it's resurfaced the past two years, unfortunately. Something needs to change, injuries or not, whether it's staff changes, technology, etc. We're stale right now, and as Theriot said, what's out there right now is a disservice to those who built it.

this is sad

Pathetic.

Garza swinging at 2-0 with the bases loaded and 1 out and hitting into a double play changed the momentum of the game

That's a pathetic thing to say to the media. I honestly don't like to hear that kind of mentality from my coach at all.

I tend to think it was also that 6 spot we gave up in the B8. You just knew we'd score 3 in the 9th just to make us want to vomit

I just left their stadium. They’re definitely having fun. Their game day experience is way beyond the current Box. The stadium was packed, 11,700 people. The berm was full of Pig fans cooking, drinking and wooping their hearts out. It matches where they are compared to where we are.

Seems to happen regularly lately.

The only time we score lots of runs is when we are down double digits then the team seems to relax.
We need them to relax all the time

yeah it's generally a pretty fun atmosphere when you're good, just won a series, and are a lock for a national seed. The current Box was like that not too long ago. I can tell you, there is nowhere better than Baton Rouge when the Tigers are winning, and there is no more depressing place when they're losing

Gee I wonder why that is? Play good baseball and there is not a better place than Baton Rouge.

Got in the car maybe 10 minutes after game ended

Hear more in background
He said nope, still not done

It was funny in a depressing kinda way

Meh....you could argue that if State, Arkansas, and LSU were the top 3 teams in the country that State and Arkansas would have better atmospheres than LSU.

He laid the catcher out with a bat to the arm & then caught the red arse when they went out to check on him

The batter hit the catcher on the backswing. Looks to me like the catcher reached forward and got him on the forearm.
