Apparently they didn't believe the hype and worked hard to earn wins. Something that is lacking in this team at the moment.

LSU hired a coach that no major conference team wanted or would have ever wanted. His resume has NOTHING on it that would qualify him to coach at a program like LSU. His ceiling at ANY OTHER major program in the country would be as a 1st or 2nd assistant.

Yes, we can say it now. They are all overrated. Yes, they are playing streetball but as good as their individual talent is supposed to be they should be doing a lot better. They all suck!!
Simmons is only good at rebounding and passing. Can't even make short shots under the goal. Blakeney is supposed to be a great shooter but has shot like crap. Quarterman looks so awkward at times. His three shot is either on or totally off.
Overall they all look incredibly sluggish like they have been drugged or something. There are just blank looks on their faces like they don't have the slightest idea what to do.
We haven't gone after loose balls or rebounds. Mediocre defense that doesn't even attempt to fight through screens. Just a total lack of effort. It's on the coaches, it's on the players, it's on everyone and everything about this team. Way underacheiving. I don't think it is going to make much difference at all to get our other two players on the court. They just don't have any heart.

Hornsby can't get back soon enough. We desperately need some leadership on the floor; god knows we aren't getting it from jones on the bench

Twice in eleven years. He recruited well. And that matters a lot when you play those types of teams. There wasn't exactly a fierce bidding war for his services when he came here.

Ehh..10 out of his 11 seasons he had 11 or more losses and only 2 NCAA appearances. He wasn't exactly setting the word on fire. Probably a reason he was at North Texas for 11 years.

There is an affliction on this team that is spreading to the football team back to the BB team. And I hope it doesn't get to Baseball and softball. I am sure Alleva will have the answer.

I was hoping Jamie Dixon from Pitt would want a change. That sucked not being able to draw in somebody like that.

He never won the a regular season conf title at NTU in 11 years. They only reason they made it to te NCAAT twice is because they got lucky and made a run in the conf tourn. In both NCAAT appearance they got their shite kicked in.
