And we need em both. Gotta get 27 outs 3 times over a weekend. I’d rather the more consistent guy be available for the back end. It’d be different if we had more than 2 guys in the pen we could count on, but nobody but Cowen and Evans have stepped up yet. Hopefully they will.
And hopefully Shores continues to get better. I think a lot of y’all really underestimate how hard it is to miss a year and half of pitching coming back from Tommy John. Command is the last thing to return. The more he pitches, the better he’ll get. Only 69 pitches through 4 complete with 0 earned runs today. I think he’s doing a pretty nice job.
