Love/Hate listening to Lady Moscona

Love listening to anything LSU.. Sometimes ol Matty is great and sometimes I can hardly listen. Assuming I'm not the only one with those thoughts. Anyway.....

Go listen to afternoon hosts in other mid sized cities, you will develop an appreciation for how good Matt really is. He could have moved on to a bigger market years ago.

Matt is good at his Job. He comes off as a little arrogant though.

Best thing about pod casts is I can listen to one of the other shows in the afternoon in his spot. He's a talented guy who cones off as a miserable disingenuous prick. Wish he'd move to another market

He’s entertaining, and he’s good on radio. Sometimes he smells his own farts, yea... But how many people in entertainment don’t, honestly (especially on radio)? His takes are usually pretty logical, and his interviews are solid.
I’ve rolled my eyes probably as many times as I’ve laughed, but it’s not like to the point of avoiding the show.
I’m glad we’ve got guys like Hanny, Jacob & even T-Bob to mix up the tone/delivery, but Scone does his thing too + BR sports talk could certainly do a lot worse.
TLDR don’t disagree with OP

Why do people hate him? honest question. I’ve always thought he’s pretty damn good for a local radio host

Always thought Mascona was good dating back to the days when he got his start with Condon. Love the Rohan segment every week.

Anyone who doesn’t like Matt has never listened to WWL radio a day in their lives. As someone born and raised in NOLA, BR radio is 100x better.

You BR guys have it good these days. And yes for the most part WWL in Nola stinks for sports talk.

I'm with you. Sometimes when he and Theriot get going, it's very annoying ( like the it's digital segment). I mostly like his interviews, but the thing that gets me is the amount of ads and live reads in his show. Good God, it's a 3-hour-long advertisement mixed with a little sports talk. I've worked in radio advertising before and let me tell you, those salesmen working for Guaranty are making a fricking fortune.
