Lots of teams have subpar OLs and complete more than 50% of their passes

LSU is ranked 123 nationally in completion percentage. A couple drops in game 1 hurt, but last night wasn't much better and I don't recall a drop.

Why is playing QB at LSU such a difficult task? Teams across the country get far more production out of the spot without superior OLs and skill players, but we can't seem to crack the code.

It's baffling that we make it so difficult. What do we do that makes it so hard?

Average talent linemen with little or no experience + keeping TE's and RB's stay in to block + sending only two receivers out in pass patterns = low pass percentage and at least 3 SEC losses.

Oooh noooo. It’s the players fault for not executing. The coaches have everything under control.

Other teams know how to utilize quick routes to neutralize blitzes. Our coaches have not figured this out, it’s a crucial part of every offense that is oddly absent from ours.

shite, we fricking abused SLU's OL and their QB was still 23/34 against our vaunted secondary.

It’s frusting but I think it’s clear no matter who we play coach Os philosophy is to make the other team beat us. I mean I hate it and think he’s only hurting us in the long run because in games where we should be taking care of business early so we can get the starters out and give the backups and younger kids experience were killing our starters on defense where they should be resting up for the bigger games.. I saw a gassed defense by the end of the 3rd playing a friggin division 2 highschool team. I don’t even think Brennan played did he? That is absolutely sad to me.

Somebody link Matt Flynn's tweet last night.

Giles should be going off with our piece together line.

Giles stat line should be like 10 catches for 45 yards. Unless he breaks some open.

The OL was a shitshow last night. It wasn't simply "subpar".

At least we aren’t worn out from our 30 minute practices.

SLU's OL was even worse and they had no issue completing 23/34.

We were a completed Hail Mary away from going 9/20 for 111 yards last night. That's completely inept considering the competition.
