We had innovation on offense with Matt Canada, 0 didn’t like it.

Not gonna happen with Ed & Steve

It would be better to get Murray, Lamb, Ford and some of those other horses Ok has.

Oh but we didn’t.

It’s not innovation, it’s Murray’s scrambling ability
Our best chance to score on Bama next year? Teach Emery how to throw and let him scramble around

We had a helluva lot more innovation than what we’ve seen with Ensminger.

Oklahoma will not win this game, but has aquitted themselves well after trailing 0-28. Great offensive plan, sorry they dug such a big hole.
Ensminger must geaux.

"STEVE" Ensminger is a horrible Offensive Coordinator, and there's not a damn thing we can do about it. We're stuck. Orgeron loves the guy. There are some idiots here that love "STEVE" too.

Yea some people are just ignorant or delusional. O and E are both unfortunately; they are to arrogant to change. And our admin is too ignorant and indifferent to make a change.

How many years would it take us to score 34 points on Alabama?
Posted on 12/29/18 at 10:55 pm to Lsuhoohoo
Ahhhhhhhahahahahahaha but damn what a good question!
Posted on 12/29/18 at 10:57 pm to Lsuhoohoo
Has LSU ever scored 34 points on Bama? I'm not aware of that ever happening, even when Bama had Mike Shula, Mike Dubose, or whatever other bad coach.

Well, considering Ensminger hasn’t scored a single point against Alabama since 1978, I’d say about 40 years as long as zerO is head coach.

Twice...since 1895.
35 in 2001
41 in 2007

That wasn't in the Ears Whitworth regime!

They ran one single play about 15 times in the game, just flipped the side of the field and the receivers.
RPO with a levels passing routes. Quick slant from the inside receiver (this is the one that was connected on over and over and over again). A dig or post from the outside receivers. If they had trips, the middle receiver ran the dig/post, and the outside ran a vertical route.
That isn't groundbreaking stuff. It all depends on personnel. That's just having a quarterback who can read the defense both pre snap and post snap for the run option, an O-Line capable of blocking for 1 - 3 seconds, receivers who can run the correct route and create just a little bit of separation, a quarterback who can find the open receiver and make the correct, accurate throw and finally, receivers who can actually catch the ball when the QB puts it on the money, or in Alabama's case, make spectacular catches all over the place and bail Tua out repeatedly when he does miss.
Of those things, LSU does not have the O-Line, does not have the receivers getting great separation, does not have the quarterback consistently making great throws (although Burrow did make many nice throws, and many more that were dropped), and LSU does not have receivers making routine plays consistently. LSU receivers seemed to make some spectacular plays, but no consistency.
