Looks like UCLA will open up with Hawaii before LSU this fall

UCLA will be the first Pac-12 team in action when it hosts Hawai'i on Aug. 28, leading into an intriguing nonconference slate that includes Oregon State at Purdue (Sept. 4), Stanford vs. Kansas State (Sept. 4) UCLA vs LSU (Sept. 4), Oregon at Ohio State (Sept. 11), Colorado vs Texas A&M (Sept. 11), Washington at Michigan (Sept. 11) and Cal at TCU (Sept. 11), among others.
Similar to what BYU did before they played LSU.
Good and bad, UCLA gets a game under their belt. LSU gets to see new UCLA personnel and UCLA could have some potential injuries from that game.

True. Last year we had no film on State and had no idea what they would run. Seems we didn't look at other film on Leach's teams.

We had a veteran defensive staff, analysts, and all the tools but everything State did had us off balance. How?

Don't think a decision has been made yet. Hopefully it stays at the Rose bowl.

I hope it stays in the Rose Bowl too. But they can’t wait too late to make a decision....tickets have to be distributed to whatever site will be used.

Honestly, if there are locations that are allowing 100% capacity, and the Rose Bowl isn't allowing at least 50%, then I want the game moved.

LSU has far superior talent than UCLA. Per 247sports, UCLA's last 3 classes are ranked 40th, 33rd and 31st.
LSU is ranked 3rd, 4th and 5th over the same period.
If LSU doesn't win this game it's because of coaching.

LSU has had a nasty habit of playing down to their opponents.

I’ll be in Pasadena on Sep 4.
Hopefully it will be inside the Rose Bowl.

I'm not sure why LSU never schedules Hawaii.
No money in it, I guess.
