I doubt they could have done much to it. The original Box opened 30 years prior to Dudy.

You can see from the aerial view that they would have had to move the railroad tracks or Nicholson. The old box was just squeezed into a very tight spot.

I’m pretty sure they destroyed the grandstand completely and rebuilt it like ULL did. They didn’t really salvage anything except the field itself.

Messed around with this for about 2 hours and made some good headway, though there are some limitations I’m going to have to deal with. For example:
I can put lettering on things like the dugout roof, but for some reason I can’t change the color of the letters to purple or gold, just blue.
Also I did a test run and fans don’t populate in the bleachers, only the chair backs.
Regardless I’ll post a few pictures when I her deeper into it, going to need at a fair bit of time on. Little things like how do I deal with the Tiger Stadium facade is going to take some work and testing to make sure it’s not too close/far away in game.
I also plan on doing the new Box and Zephyr field and I think both of those will be a fair bit easier.
