great programs are constantly looking for ways to improve and not accepting poor play.

Has Will Wade improved LSU basketball? Of course, and that's great.

Should we just smile and nod our heads when we lose to a team that was riding a 27-game conference losing streak, then blow a 14-point lead, and an 8-point lead with 1:26 left, and then lose to an average Alabama team?

And these losses are especially bad because they're revealing some concerning weaknesses from the coaching staff.

Now sure, teams have off-nights, and that's ok. But this is 3 in a row, with some horrific defense being played, and not getting fixed.

That should concern any rational fan.

Pull out your tapes of post season games the ten years prior to Wade and enjoy.

Count your blessings.
LSU basketball is looking more positive than at any point in my lifetime. "77"
Young coach has us at the top of the league consistently. You younger guys should be excited about the future. I look at the calendar and wonder if I will be around to enjoy the positive future of LSU sports.
Don't waste your life bitching, its good. Life is too short to waste complaining.

Hypothetical: we’re exactly where we are, with the big improvements we’ve had under Wade.

But let’s say we lose our next 5 games, each by 30 points. Can we be concerned then? Or must we follow your rule that since we’ve done better under Wade, we must be happy?

If we lose our next 5 games even by 1 point each, I’ll post a video of myself sawing my pecker off

Auburn lost to Ole Miss. The sky is not falling. We are 1 game, and a tie break, out of first. Defense has sucked, as everyone is raining 3’s on us, and that should have been fixed already. Way too passive, if these kids think they are going into the NBA.

Some of the most negative people I've come across post here. Catastrophe syndrome is real.

Well I hate to say it but this LSU team is in trouble. They could lose a first round SEC game and slide in as a nine seed and then lose in the first round of the big party. That is very possible with what I am seeing currently.

Didn't realize we were in a position as fans of LSU basketball to turn up our noses at the prospect of making the Dance 2 straight seasons.

Lol what a fricking stupid hypothetical. It reminds me of the clowns who trot out the "(insert coach) COULD WIN 5 STRAIGHT TITLES AND YOU'D STILL BITCH" nonsense.

Exactly... would we not have given our collective left nut to win the sec, be top 4 the next year and then make the tournament 2 straight seasons?

People complaining about complainers are the worst of all threads.

The irony is completely lost on OP. I’m a positiger but see it clearly.

Be a leader for positivity, not a bitchboy that whines because someone complained.

Nobody is expecting this team to win a national title

However, the first weekend of the NCAA tournament is the best weekend in all of sports and seeing LSU listed makes it that much better.

At the end of the day, I think we’ll end up a 6, win the first round game and lose a close game on Sat/Sun in the round of 32. Thats a good season for this team. Next year they should be sweet 16 minimum
