Head coach hires coordinator. Presumably, head coach vetted coordinator, made a hiring decision.
Coordinator does OK from a performance perspective, but, has a tendency not to salute smartly when the head coach gives orders
Head coach decides to fire coordinator after one year.
Fact: coordinator may indeed be an a-hole.
Fact: if coordinator is indeed an a-hole, he was an a-hole when head coach made the decision to hire him.
Fact: evidence of coordinator's assholery would have been evident from his past performance.
Fact: Head coach has the right to make staff changes, but
Fact: head coach's judgment, decision-making ability, in hiring a-hole coordinator, is rightly called into question.
Fact: head coach's bosses that allow mismanagement to occur (if nothing else, financial mismanagement in paying money to coaches not to coach), themselves have poor judgment and decision-making ability.
Buck stops with the head coach. He knowingly hired an a-hole, can't get off scot-free by crying "a-hole."

Fact: you don’t know what facts are.

I agree with this. I think the offense improved as the season went on.
I think O and LSU are messing up letting Canada go.
This is a huge knock against O. The fuel against O dwindled after the season because of the way the team finished. The anti-O crowd just got a boost.

If I am the boss and I hire an a-hole. I can and will fire a-hole. We all make judgement calls on first impressions.

I do too! My assholes are productive, so I don't fire productivity.

Fact: Head Coach is likely an a-hole also, resulting in a conflict between 2 assholes, One of which likely has no idea what he talking about while the other is considered an expert at his craft.

My point was that hardly anything in the OP is, by definition, a fact.
You make some good points, but why throw the word FACT in front of them? Learn some stuff, come back and post again.

I can live with a cartoon character as the head coach, if he lives up to his promise to hire coordinators who can do what he can't do: put intelligent, X's and O's-oriented, cutting-edge football philosophy and performance on the field.
The fulfillment of that promise, at the moment, is in doubt.
And I hate seeing Steve Ensminger put in the middle of this ... he's a great guy but no way is he "one of the very best" offensive coordinators in college football. Steve would do well to tell Shrek thanks, but no thanks.

Behind the scenes, O's management is A huge issue. Many would not have signed on to O if Ensminger had been the OC.
I am not sure this is over. Canada's interview and a strong bowl game performance may undercut O.
Like I have said for a while the high school drama does not help O. Troy can't be blamed on Canada but it is fully on O!

So many things I want to know.
How can Alleva throw O under the bus for following his example?
How much patience is there for both of them among the higher ups?
What is the plan if Ensminger is OC and it fails? Who gets the blame from those that matter?
At some point, do they just decide to let FB be a casualty and lower expectations?

What example is that? O sold JA on one thing, and O is not following the binder! Lol
Not much! It was close mid-season, but winning cures all. I thought a confidence vote may have occurred at one of the BOS meetings. It did not happen though.
Coaching change board will be interesting next year!

Competent bosses who hire talented assholes learn to work with said assholes by putting aside differences and working towards common goals. See: Saban and Kiffin. Yes, their relationship eventually soured, but it wasn't until after Saban got 3 SEC championships out of the deal.

Exactly! True Alpha know how to handle Alphas. Wannabe Alphas just see other Alphas as threats.

Thank you!
The example would be if O hired Ensminger.
Would be perfectly reflective of the way Alleva hired O. But your distinction of O not following the binder answered that question.
