It's common knowledge that all of Les' players are so immensely talented that they could have shown up here right out of high school, suited up on Saturdays without ever practicing, and won 3 NCs by themselves.

Your statement would carry more weight if Les had not said himself that gameday coaching was overrated and the best way to win is to recruit the best players.

People from out-of-state know nothing about Louisiana.

LSU is not winning because of Les

Yeah this years' winless season hurts.

Les was able to win with the talent LSU attracts!

Oh which is it? Does Les win games or doesn't he?

What has he done since?

Since?

We are supposed to win alot, it is fact, but we arent supposed to lose with a carload of midgets pulling long hanky's out of their pockets still on the field!

You didn't proofread this did you?

Or think it through, but I admire your typing skills. You got all of the letters in LSU correct and in the proper order. One small step, right?

And he obviously meant exactly what i posted.

The greatest coaches need talent...just like talent needs coaching. More so in football than any other sport.

Basically you could say "people from _______ know nothing about __________."

People are idio-tards when it comes to any type of geography.

The only teams right now that wouldn't be happy with Miles are probably Alabama, Florida, OU, Texas and Oklahoma State.

Auburn, Oregon, TCU, Boise St., Miss. St., Iowa, Ohio st., Penn st., Georgia, South Carolina......etc. There are alot more teams that wouldn't want Les.

Ironically, the only coach out of that group I'd take over Miles is Spurrier.

I really like Kelly at Oregon, but I'm not fond of a wild offense like that because I'm not sure it would work in the SEC long-term. I like Peterson, but wouldn't do a straight-up trade for Miles just yet (I reserve the right to change my mind on this one later). Gary Patterson is a great coach, but blah to me. I also really like Tres, but again, wouldn't do a straight-up trade for Miles. They are actually very similar.

That's the thing... we're in this conundrum with Miles IMO where he's good enough to where the chances of finding someone better than him to take the job are small, but he's bad enough to where we're all itching for something else. That something else may not be out there, though, and even if it is, it still may not end well for us.

For now (assuming we go 3-1 to finish out), I'm ok with getting a new OC and see what happens in 2011.

Spurrier is done. I think he just wants to golf and have a job that isn't as pressure packed as it would be at other places.

Patterson I like he should have a good recruiting base in Texas.
