If you make a nfl roster youre a nfl player. Only a dumbass would disagree. Ask any nfl player if making a nfl roster means youre a nfl player. Its amazing that people like you think making a nfl roster isnt being a nfl player.
Gotta agree with Rick on this one. If you make a 53-man roster, you're an NFL player, regardless of whether you ever play a down.
Now if you only make a practice squad, you're not an NFL player. You're on the cusp, but not quite there.

well, making an NFL practice squad does not equate to making a 53-man roster. Not at all.
It most certainly does. If you're a practice squad player youre a nfl player. But let me guess , you have a different opinion on what constitutes a nfl olayer than the actual nfl.

And Jordan Jefferson, who won a lot of games, was a QB after thought that was basically a last minute offer after he played so well in the State High School Championship Game. LSU didn't really want him but had room available and took him.

I agreed with you until you said this. You have to make the team at the very least.

The nfl disagrees with you but I'm sure your opinion outweighs the nfl's on what constitutes a nfl player. My god the lengths people go to diminish anything during miles tenure is laughable.

come on now, Rick. Being on a practice squad doesn't make someone an "NFL player." Yes, I realize they're employed by an NFL team and get a check each week, but that doesn't elevate them to "NFL player" status in most people's minds. Same as a walk-on at LSU who practices but never dresses for a game. I think it's an important distinction.
And I'm not saying this to bash Miles - just to refute that Ryan Perilloux was ever an "NFL player." He never made a 53-man roster, so he wasn't.

Who knew the nfl lied on its own site. It shows RP as having 1 year of experience in the nfl but ive been told numerous times that he wasn't a nfl qb.
Please continue to explain how your opinion of what constitutes a nfl qb outweighs the nfl's opinion on what constitutes a nfl qb.

my criteria is if a player makes a 53-man roster. I don't think Perilloux did. To me, the practice squad doesn't make a guy an "NFL player." I've already been clear on that, and I don't much care what the NFL's technical criteria is.
To me, and I'd imagine to most posters on this board, practice squad =/= NFL player.
But keep on fighting, Rick.

Most posters on this board swore our oline was garbage despite having the most oline on all sec teams and it being ranked #1 in the country by pff.
Youre a good poster and we disagrer alot but weve always been cordial brother.
I used what the nfl says constitutes a nfl player. For the very reason that i came across earlier in this thread. A poster said just someone not playing isnt a nfl player.

He wasn't... He NEVER saw the Field.... So NO he was NOT an NFL QB...
You are reaching to keep sucking off Miles....
But Its YOUR agenda.....

Im pretty sure the nfl's opinion on what constitutes a nfl player outwieghs the opinion of someone that doesnt know what an individual record is in cfb.

You posted that link without knowing you were helping my point. Do you see those numbers next to RP's face?
Specifically this....
Do you see the word experience next to his name? Is that number a zero? If not then the nfl labels him a nfl player. Im sorry your opinion thinks he isnt.

My daughter handed me her bag of valentine candy from school today because she couldn't keep it in her room. It was pretty much empty and she was way too eager to go do homework after dinner.
Our conversation:
Me: "Where's the rest of the candy?"
Her: "There is none."
Me: "Well I don't believe THAT."
Her: "I had some at school. Not many people brought candy"
go to her room, see a basket of candy wrappers
Me: "What's all of this."
Her: "What?"
Me: "Where did these candy wrappers come from?"
Her: "From the candy I ate at school."
Me: "You're telling me you ate the candy and decided to bring the trash home with you?"
Her: "It was my trash."
She's making more sense than you right now.

Oh how i love when posters are arrogantly ignorant. You helped my argument by posting that link.
Nfl.com seems to think he has 2 years of experience. No one gives a frick about what youre prerequisites are for someone to be labeled a nfl player.
The nfl says RP was a nfl qb. Deal with it.

Holy shite. You really believe that your opinion of what makes someone a nfl player outweighs what the nfl says makes someone a nfl player.
The nfl says RP was a nfl qb.your opinion is meaningless.

You're backtracking like a little bitch. You were trying to use the fact Les had put 2 QB's in the NFL to prove that he wasn't that bad with QB's. We show you that this one didn't actually play a down and got cut so many times he started listening to Elliott Smith, but now you're starting to split hairs with the definition of "experience".
You've really been all over the place in this thread. I'm sure it's hard to keep up with.

Im not backtracking dumbass. Im showing the nfl sayin RP has 2 years of experience in the nfl.

This doesnt have shite to do with whether or not RP was a nfl qb.
The nfl says he was dumbass. Your opinion that he wasnt a nfl player is rendered meaningless. Who do you think decides what constitutes someone as a nfl player?
You or the nfl?
Because he nfl says rp has 2 years experience being a nfl player.
Sorry your opinion is proven to be ignorant.
