Many on here are questioning his leadership from Saturday. I sorta agree, but I bet its killing him, literally KILLING him to be hurt and not allowed to play. This guy is a competitor.

Ok, the NFL money thing: biggest reason to stay and why 95% sure he'll go. BUT you can buy insurance for that. Should he get hurt, he'll be paid. And I'm sure he's not paying for much right now living like a king at LSU.

Does he really want to go out hurt without a complete season? Not establishing the Louisiana legacy wanted to establish? One more season and he'll be the best statically EVER at LSU, with Heisman potential.

Does he see the possibility of future rewards with the influence of a new offense philosophy? My God, just think what he'll do when the defenses can't stack the box.

also, you can't buy insurance for a 10-15 year career.

He's a running back who's projected to go top 10. He needs to go. Not to mention he's already given us so much of his legs. He'll be/is an incredible ambassador for our university. I can't wait to see him do great things at the next level.

I'll always be grateful that Leonard decided to stay home and do everything he could to help LSU. I'll tell my grandkids stories about Fournette. The mans a damn Louisiana legend in my book.

Sure, but that's only financial. If something happened, he loses a chance at an NFL career.

He already has based on last season alone.

There's really no incentive for him to stay.

I dont personally question him, but if certain other players were shown kicked back on the bench with a disinterested look, they would be roasted for "not caring." It is what it is, and it be what it be.

Yeah, Hanagriff sort of alluded to him not getting up off the bench the entire night and how he barely even sat in on the offensive meetings during the game. Just looked totally disinterested.

He was involved n meeting and warm ups. He was told to take it easy on his ankles. U want him jump in around ?? I think not. Plus he's a competitor. U are reading way too much into things n this case

I love when people claim to know a player's thoughts and feelings by watching him for a few brief moments during a game.

Has LF ever not started a game, other than the Mizzu game, in his football career due to an injury? If not, then I would think it was real kick in the nuts to an individual who wants to play every down of every game. Pass is given

It is stupid all the way around. But LF7 can get away with it for the most part, but the Jay Cutlers and Brandon Harris of the worlds are raked over the coals if they arent all Richard Simmons on the sidelines

No one with a brain is questioning his leadership ever.

It would be incredible for him to stay for the reasons you state, except I'm not sure about the insurance thing, so I'm speaking only to the legacy, the potential achievements, his name given as among the best ever.

No one will second guess if he decides to go NFL, it's hard to pass up that financial reward. But staying would be monumental for LSU, Fournette and the entire NCAA football world.

Incomplete season, but maybe he'll be healed up in time to help us dominate the rest of the season when we'll need it the most.

Either way and no matter what, much love and respect for the Titan, Leonard Fournette.

It was littered in the game thread, and multiple individual threads were started on the score board. The guy isnt lying
