First road environment, did not handle it well.

HAD to take the ball STRONG inside, and they did not do that for the first 10 minutes, leading to an 18-1 deficit.

If they are going to make any noise in conference/NCAA tourney, they have to be better from 3.

The defense is still very good. Forced Auburn into a bunch of turnovers but unfortunately turned it over too much on our end as well.

Justice Williams gives them more guard depth off the bench. This is very positive!

Curious to see how they regroup against Kentucky.

The sky is not falling, chill the frick out.

I liked what I saw from Pinson, Eason, and Williams.

Pinson drove well but fouled out.

So many dumb turnovers. Felt like NO offensive boards. Mediocre ft shooting.

Honestly we beat ourselves more than they beat us IMO. Every time we got any momentum with the lead cut to a reasonable margin we shot ourselves in the foot. Missed fts turnovers and jackin up dumb arse 3s along with the slow start cost us the game.

This I agree with. Very disappointing tonight.

It’s been proven year after year you need some 3 pt shooters and LSU never has them. Won’t make it far without them.

Way too many turnovers on offense, and living and dying by the three is not a winning combination.

Agreed. As BAD as LSU was offensively, in the grand scheme of things this may be the best thing to happen. Almost a “newsflash we’re not as awesome as we thought” kinda moment. Reid and Eason NEED to get tougher, eliminate the mind blowingly STUPID turnovers, and somehow find consistency from the outside.

It wasn’t nearly as bad as it looked. We missed some really good looks. We won’t miss that many again

Depends on what your expectations are. This is not a sweet 16 team right now and they’re not anywhere near as “deep” as last year. We got blinded by trash-average opponents the first 12 games and got exposed tonight just like I mentioned two weeks ago.

CWW said they would struggle if they did not take care of the ball and we did not. Add that to a bad shooting night and we get the "L"!

They have like two good shooting nights all year. They aren’t suddenly going to start shooting better against teams with better players, when they couldn’t shoot agsinst short white dudes

Thanks for confirming LSU offense is essentially one dude and that guy is hurt. Wheels have fell off offensively. None of those dudes can shoot. Days maybe. On bright sunny days.

Stagnant offensively and no one can create their own shot. That’s going to be a problem all season.

Defensively I don’t remember us playing a better game in conference play. They played their asses off on that end and that’s gonna translate for the rest of the year.

Justice Williams is legit. Wade needs to give him some of Gaines’ minutes and see if he can keep up this level of play consistently.

Without Murray we have zero players I’m confident can hit a 3. No bueno.

Days shot selection: WOOF

Jabari Smith made some really tough shots look easy. Dude has incredible talent.

I love this team though. Very flawed but Wade has them playing their asses off defensively. Offense needs to run through Pinson, Eason, and Murray moving forward.

I think we beat Kentucky.

I also think the refs helped Auburn a lot! Not only did they foul our guys out. Losing Pinson was the killer. The refs also swung things in their favor on those 3 pointer fouls. Plus Murray is another shooter that we missed, although Justice filled in well.

Where has Justice Williams been prior to this game? I don’t see that he had any minutes prior to this game.

Too many turnovers and not a strong enough offense to win a game like this

If they eliminate the holy f*** what are you doing turnovers the offense will be fine. 6-7 turnovers on fast breaks with the defense on their heels.

They can't shoot. We are missing good looks. Days is gonna be hot n cold but other than that pack it up.

Reid has got to get tougher in the sec. For the most part he got tossed around and blew 6-8 points by himself. First game on the road I trust he'll improve.
