______________
It is time for the humiliation to end.
______________

Yeah god, I am so embarrassed about that 51-15 record we have going over the last 5 years. The SECC, NC, 4-1 bowl record, only 1 loss against a non-conf opponent.

People like this are humiliating. If you are going to make an argument make it sound.

bullshite. We lost an 8-game race by three fricking games plus a tie breaker, and were eliminated a month before the SEC championship game. That's not "in the hunt".

By your idiotic definition, Vanderbilt "competes" for the SEC title every year.

I think it is funny when people say if we don't compete for the conference title next year Miles needs to go.

You just have to smile at some of this BS and let it go.

Like LSU will let Miles go after another 9-3 record or a 3rd place finish in the SEC.

LSU has won an SEC 10 times in our history, but suddenly we must win one every 2-3 yrs or our coach has to go.

Well, we were one play away from beating Bama till they kicked that FG with bout 3 mins to go in the game. That's pretty much "in the hunt" in my book and I don't care what the doom and gloom patrol says.

Yea, we were one play away from getting beat by MSU and going to the Liberty bowl.

I hate the shoulda woulda coulda crap. You saw what was on the field.

Time management is only a part of the problem. Real problem is the idiot does not have us prepared to play.
We are now AL, FL and OM's b-tch. Get ready to be AR and AU's.

lets look at that a little closer... one of the losses is a non conference loss so, 14 conference losses in miles tenure. the last two years we were 8-8 in conference. that means in Miles first 3 years we had 6 conference losses and in his last two years he's had 4 conference losses each year. Average 2 conference losses per year his first three years, and average 4 conference losses per year his last two... and we pay this clown nearly 4 mil a year?????

it's not that confusing really.. we had superior talent to nearly all the teams we played Less's first three years, the last two years they have started to catch up talent wise....
Superior talent makes bad coaches look ok....

Time management is merely another symptom of the bigger problem. LM may well be a nice guy, but when you stubbornly refuse to change the offense, after finishing last in the SEC and 112 in the nation, you're telling me not to have much hope for next year.

LM and Crowton returning, a very young defensive front 7, and the inept offense. Sounds like a recipe for a 6-6 year to me.

That's Les Miles definition as well. And therein lies the problem. We have a whole lot of 'want', and not a whole lot of 'will'.

As far as I know, know team tried with Coker maybe because they recognized he had a senior QB that was making the play calls on the field.

Hyperbole:
-The tragedy of the “Meltdown in Mississippi” is that there was no meltdown. The world visualized lack of preparation and inability to adapt, tempered with incompetence.
The country learned (what everyone in the SEC already knew) that LSU coach Les Miles is way over his head. In all human endeavor, you get what you tolerate. We have tolerated the insanity that is Les Miles for too many years. Our program is in free fall.
-We have a duty to demand the termination of Les Miles. He has coached our very talented players into underachievers.
He has embarrassed LSU and our state. MIM was not poor clock management. It was ignorance at the rate of $4 million per year. And we are paying the bill. We demand better.
Offensively, there has never been a game plan, a scheme. Random would be a compliment to the play-calling. Defensively, “bend, don’t break” keeps the score low, but it does not get you off the field.
- The failures are systemic, and they start at the top.
The secret of MIM is twofold. First, it is not a secret. The national media aptly dubbed the Penn State game as “The Dummy vs. the Mummy.” Second, it did not start at Ole Miss. It started the day Les Miles was hired. We get what we tolerate. Les Miles must be terminated.
It is time for the humiliation to end. The athletic director asked for his job. He should do his job.
Everything in that post was true. You can call it hyperbole, because of some of the terms he used in exaggerating his point, but the core basis of everything that he wrote is true. If he just took out some of the more controversial terms like "insanity", etc., there would be nothing you could find in that letter that wasn't factual, other than his opinion, which is Les should be fired, which he is entitled to.

Not true...i have called him out when he has made mistakes and have said that if he loses 4+ games next year he should probably be fired.

But i will defend him against dumbass myths that have started on this board and people that blame him for everything while giving him credit for nothing.

I will not defend Crowton because i believe he should have been fired...but just because Miles kept him does not mean he is not changing the offense. He's brought in two new offensive coaches and has repeatedly said in recent interviews that he recognizes the problem.

Yeah b/c that whole shared responsibilities thing has really worked for LSU in the past.
