If Ingram returns (god I hope he does) I’m moving brunfield to Center Ingram to RG then I’m only worried about RT. Not sure why Deculus isn’t panning out. He could, I just thought he would be hitting his stride this year, seems like he’s not right now.

I'd like to see how Decaulus would look at guard

From what I’ve heard and read Lewis is going to be the real deal and Traore has been a huge disappointment so far. Hope Traore can kick it in gear.. we need bodies!

Yeah, that’s what I would do. So the look with Ingram in

LT Charles
LG Lewis
C Brumfield
RG Ingram
RT ?

That’s an incredible line from the left spot up until RT. I think McGee has the best shot right now. That position could be the biggest question mark on the team honestley.

Last I’ve heard from some podcasts/gathering info, is McGee right now. I would prefer Deculus, but I’m not at practices to see that position everyday. It’s a question mark for sure, I think it could make a big impact on the offense as a whole.

Magee played pretty good, so at the minimum we have Magee at RT, who is solid, and did not look like a weak link on the oline last season when he played. I would expect him to be even better this season with an extra year. If Troare or Deculus are good enough to beat him out then all the better. I don't see RT being a weakness unless all 3 of those guys are a weakness which doesn't seem likely.

Charles and Brumfield make for one hell of a left side.

Cushenberry is average.

Lewis could be a monster in the making.

RT is a big ?

I think the question mark at RT is a big reason why they visited the Saints. I bet if it’s a weak spot that we will see a ton of chipping by TEs and Backs. Saints schemed for that so well so hopefully our coaching staff picked up some solid pointers.

Might I just add that this is the best thread started on the Rant in awhile.

I wonder how Donavaughn Campbell is doing these days. He was highly touted out of high school and started a few games his freshman year but was to slow coming out his stance and regulated to backup after that and then disappeared.

Then if Chasen Hines can be like Saadique Charles and Ingram last season and be capable of holding his own as a true freshman. He is a big guy that may be good enough to get quality PT this season.

If Hines or Campbell can step up then maybe Brumfield could still get shuffled to center if Cush can't cut it.

Hopefully Ingram isn't out very long because he is probably our best o lineman, but we should be ok without him also.

Also what is Jakori Savage looking like?

Wasn't it said somewhere that if Brumfield went to center, either Decaulus or Magee would switch to Guard?

You didn't see the video of andre Anthony abusing jakori and Campbell? Didn't look so hot in that video, looked like their feet were stuck in the mud. Sure hope Ingram gets cleared and maybe Deculus,Traore or Magee can step it up. If Ingram doesn't come back I sure hope Chasen Hines could become Ingram of last year and fill in at LG/RG.

I don't see how RT is a big question mark. Magee played really well there last year.

Someone posted the weights of our O-line. Maybe Magee gained weight, I can't remember. But, that would be the only thing making him a question mark. That dude can play.

Toby Weathersby played there when he was healthy, magee got playing time there. Video of Andre Anthony's pick six off McMillan was because of pressure off the right side.
