Forget the narratives about HC rougarou
Canada was second guessing himself on some of those plays in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Aranda had a few bad play calls

Nevertheless, let's never forget that our coordinators called a game where 25+ freshmen played and won against at top 10 team.
That is what recruiting top tier coordinators can do for a football team.

People were wondering whether Aranda was overrated in the first half.

No. Dave Aranda and Matt Canada are legitimately qualified coordinators. These men are proven commodities, and they're proven effective at their jobs.

I don't know why things went sideways, I can only hope we get more Saturdays like we had and fewer of the ones that came before it.

Yep, and those young players will only get better with more of the same.

Playing that many freshman is incredibly hard on a coach, espiecally since your "proven" players like Devin White didn't even play much their freshman year. Takes a lot of break in, but this team came together yesterday and that's what makes me proud.

We had a lot of young players who are starting to get the hang of things. Plus guys played with more intensity and pride yesterday. The coordinators can game plan all they want, but if the guys are not playing to their ability and not having situational awareness, it doesn't mean anything. Guys are starting to do that now.

Aranda is still the best DC in CFB. I don't care what anybody says.

I'm still on the fence with Canada.

Aranda is on a different stratosphere as Canada, and his resume proves it.

Some credit?

They deserve close to 95% of the credit.

Orgerons sole purpose on gamedays is to decide punt/FG/go for it and clap when the players come off the field.

First off Coach O is a Cajun from Louisiana. He bleeds purple and gold and his job is not to x and o the game, he is to inspire his team and coaches to get the job done. Not to mention when the season is over and LSU has won the NC 2017-18, He will be recruiting some of the best players.

Not trying to start anything, but damn he called an awesome game. First he did something very sneaky, since we only have half a Guice right now, the past 2-3 games, Guice would play hard the first half and fizzle in the 2nd half because of the nagging injury. So, Canada limited his playing time until the fourth quarter when Auburn D was tired, out of breath, with hands on their hips. So Canada drops a fresh RB, Guice, into the game and Guice has a field day and was instrumental in landing the knock out blow.

Canada wants to score 40+ points a game, but in his first year he has been limited by the LSU staff and the fact we have lots of Freshmen playing, and lost of first year starters, with 2 HS Freshmen on current OL, which definitely played better, and not to mention it is his first year. Give him another year to totally adapt his style with SEC play and LSU will finally have what we always wanted a truly balanced, but high scoring Offense.

When Canada gets a QB playing that's his guy it will be a ton better.
Danny is a gutsy leader but he isn't helping things with his inability to throw accurately or run effectively.
