He's appears to have "fallen in love" with LSU and Burrow now, along with Dabo. Which is his specialty and his passion, supporting ever who he feels will beat Alabama. He is a hard core Tennessee fan fan at heart, being an alum and Tennesse native from the time when that was the rivalry in the SEC.
BTW, Finebaum made his name hating Alabama, LOL! I remember the old newspaper he wrote for had a special section called "Fussing with Finebaum" which was basically a daily cuss fight between Finebaum and Alabama fans in Birmingham. It was such an intense hatred that Alabama fans boycotted that paper (Post Herald) and put it out of business.
He was pro-AU (along with the Vols) for years when they were beating Alabama and was not even a blip outside the town he was writing a newspaper column in. Then he made personal friends with the commissioner of the SEC who made him famous by giving him a pro-SEC forum radio show and making the peace between he and the Alabama fans as they hated him with a passion. So now he's yours LSU, do with him as you please but don't disappoint him and lose to Alabama as he will turn on you in a minute.
