I always wonder what would have happened if Miles completely bombed his first 2 years and we rehired Saban when he had enough of the NFL. Saban definitely would have come back to LSU over Bama at the time.

Why would the crowd roar? Most LSU fans don’t give a damn about Les Miles anymore. I hope he does well at Kansas, but if he doesn’t, I won’t be upset about it.

He will do well at KU. No worries there. He's already exceeded expectations on the recruiting trail and in publicity (celebrity) and dollars are pouring into the athletic dept. This was as much an economic hire as it is a football hire. Hes going to make them relevant in both. Jeff Long's extention and bonuses will make several AD's look stupid.

For me that was never entertaining, it was cringe-worthy. Some think it was a contrived act, Columbo if you will, but I saw him in enough circumstances outside where a contrived act was warranted that I never agreed with that.
Good guy, did better than I ever thought he could after hearing him talk the first time. Appreciative of what he did here and wish him well. Again, will pass on the show.

Leslie has only been considered by two schools as "Capable" not coincidentally both were under the direction of the same man. Les and Long will either sink or swim together. It will be fun to watch though and Kansas has to be ecstatic about the attention.
