You can say what you want about his coaching abilities, but CLM truly loved the kids and families he coached and recruited. Those stories he was telling are the reason they loved him.

I don't think anyone will argue that. Just couldn't open up the offense.

Les Miles' problem was the x's and o's, not the Jimmys and the Joes.

you pay a coach 4 million dollars a year to be loved, right?

He's always been a people pleaser. That's the only reason he was allowed to coach so poorly for so long.

no one disputes that.

It was his on-field coaching, particularly the offense, that was the problem.

Say what you want about Johnny Jones, but the man has exquisite taste in shoes.

Whatever, just need him to fax a copy of his check stub from this gig to deduct off the buyout.

It really is funny to see Mack Brown and Les Miles together.

Due to what I'm seeing on TV, Les shouldn't coach another down of football again. What I'm seeing is Les is a pure natural in front of the camera. He should do like John Gruden did in the NFL with Monday night football and become the face of college football on ESPN and sit back and stack up the cash without the stress of running a major college football program. He can easily replace Lee Corso at minimum.

He coaches so poorly for so long that he has the 7th best win % in sec history.

One of the most successful coaches in SEC history, let alone lsu history. But hey why let facts get in the way of you posting your opinion.
