Didn't Stoops get his panties in a wad cuz Saban was watching or had people watching OU practices?

Not buying it.
I am LSU through and through but this is just reaching for an excuse and it seems desperate...
They kicked our arse. Deal with it.

Yeah, there are a lot of attempts art diversion here, dealing with whether Saban "needed" help and whetehr the LSU offense was predictable or even inept.
What is indisputable is as follows :
1.Saban and Smart sought and obtianed assistance from Williams on defensing the LSU offense;
2. Ala. was much more effective in Jan. than Nov.
3. Smart thought enough of the assistance to give public thanks to Williams;
4. The Saints had access to LSU practices;
Is any of that seriously disputed?

Extremely fricked up if true.
Hears this rumor last year. Bama coaches consulted Williams about LSU.

It just casts more of a shadow on their "championship*". It is just more text to add to the asterisk. Unless that win ever gets vacated we just need to leave it in the past.

So, Williams in the middle of his playoff prep for the Lions agrees to spy on LSU for Saban. According to others earlier in this thread, he could use his lunch hours and break times to drive from the Saints practice facility to New Orleans. This is assuming of course that he had advanced notice of exactly when the LSU offense would be on the field practicing the new plays. So Williams managed to synch the entire Saints practice and meeting schedules around the LSU offense's schedule. To do that, he would have to have a mole inside LSU football. Damn, this is some Area 51 shite going on here...

Auburn must have contacted Gregg Williams as well, stopping our offense needs nfl help.

Kinda on the same subject. Do referees and other officials get to work with the teams during practices looking for calls?
photo in this link shows an offical on the sideline during Alabama's practice for the NC game.

Yes. This happens all the time.
I officiated college practices many times.

Germans....The DC at Bama, Kirby Smart, talked to Gregg Williams about stopping the option.
frick Williams. I hope he never coaches again.

Miles didn't have a backup gameplan and when option 1 overwhelmingly failed in the game he didn't try anything else because he didn't have anything else.
But that's not what some are saying. They talked about all the plays the team practiced over the 2 months prep and never ran. Read the thread esp the OP's numerous posts that is what he is alleging.
It's insane.

Gumps can try to suggest that "Williams was too busy to help" til the cows coem home, but it is indipsutable that he DID help and he was instrumental enough to get public call outs after the game form Alabama coaches .
Any suggestion Williams didn't help is silly.
THe only issue, as I understadn it, is WHAT Williams did to help Alabama...
And no one on this site knows the answer to that question.

If true, It will strongly change my opinion of the Saints.

Reggie Bush swaying recruits away from LSU while he was a Saint wasn't enough for you?

Yes, because we all know it would be impossible having access to LSU practices to just, let's say, send someone else.

No
All he had to do was look out the window at the saints practice facility.
One thing no one mentioned. It would have been very easy for Williams to have an intern film the lsu walk through at the saints facility
Not saying it did happen but it would have easy to arrange if they wanted to.

Williams and Bush are both gone. Honestly if the Saints were sacrificing babies it wouldn't matter. They are being punished more than enough right now. We have the worst defense in NFL history. It is time to forgive.

Lee Feinswog said on the Matt Mascona show this week he covered Alabama for the NC game and was told by Kirby Smart that LSU's plays were nothing they had seen any time they played Alabama or any of the films they had of them. He said they had to adjustments all throughout the game and his players were able to make the adjustment throughtout the game.

Do the Saints practice at the Dome? (I don't know. Just asking) And how close to 1/9 did the Tigers leave Baton Rouge and begin game prep for the BCSCG?
