Seriously when was the last time everyone actually liked the starting QB? I know what the obvious answers will be, but know that I was present when Mauck and Flynn were booed in Tiger Stadium on more than one occasion. I think the quarterbacks have been taking more than their fair share of blame over the recent years...

2003. No one wanted to see Marcus Randall back there after 2002.

again like I said I was there when both were booed in their own stadium, more than once. Easy to say everyone loved them after the fact.

I can actually recall some folks thinking Mickey Guidry should play more.

everyone SHOULD have known that in 03 Mauck was best for the job, 06 Russell, and 07 Flynn.

Maybe his freshman year, but not after that. Hodson is LSU's best quarterback ever.

Screw all you whippersnappers who say Flynn. And screw all you oldtimers who say Bert Jones.

I don't think anyone will say Flynn was the best LSU QB of all time

Randall wasn't the greatest but he gave a shite and was a hell of a nice guy. Would have been damn good at a D-1AA school
