bullshite. He likes bringing elite teams BACK to elite from a dip. Like Spurrier said, "If he wants to be considered the GOAT, go to a place that has NEVER won and do it." Like Spurrier did at Duke, UF and SC.

Last night was a painful blessing in disguise Why do so many people speculate that Saban might go to Texas. Texas has only lost 2 games. They beat Oklahoma and are on a nice roll now. The Texas job isn't going to be available.

The long time AD resigned...that's the difference.

Don't look now but Mack Brown and Tx are undefeated in the big 12. Bama and NS have a pro team. BAMA, NS and the Sec are getting rich, none of these parties want to kill this cash cow. NCAA doesn't care.

I didn't think he'd be gone till I saw that display of emotion at the end of the game last night. There has to be something behind that.

Last night was what we call an old-fashioned asswhipping.

Nothing to rejoice over. Saban's staying put, but even if he leaves, that game ended up being embarrassing...and likely had/has no bearing on his long-term decisions.

I don't think he's going. Plus Mack has cobbled together enough wins that he might stay. And lord knows Mack will never leave on his own.

I really think if Jerry Jones calls he will go

He really wants to win a Super Bowl before he croaks and if Saban does bring the Cowboys to a Super Bowl he will surpass Lombardi as GOAT

Mack Brown's days are still numbered and Saban's leverage isn't going to get any better than it is right now.

Or he could be showing that emotion because not only he dominated his former team but he knows this is his last year at Bama and he will be leaving with McCarron

They won't be able to do it. UT pretty much prints money.

He wants to rape LSU every year. And as long as that clown LM is at LSU, it will continue to happen. Spreadem Tigers!

Saban is not going anywhere unless some of the impending investigations prove to have merit. Then he would be smart to move on (i.e., Pete Carroll)

He practically owns the state of Alabama, is more popular than the governor, and wields the kind of political and economic power that hasn't been seen since the Bear Bryant days.

He has all of those resources at his disposal. Why would he leave? He is going to terrorize Les Miles for years.
