Look, he's a great player and I'm all for players getting to go wherever they want to go. But seriously, dude. Shut the frick up about it. You went to Bama. Good on you. If it was such a great choice for you, you wouldn't still be talking about LSU. You made a choice, now move on with your life. The LSU-Bama game is about many things, but one thing it is not about is Landon Collins' college choice.
AMEN! but I'm not sure I would go as far as a great player. He's been burned pretty consistently and has looked bad in the process. Good player yes but he's getting a lot of mileage out of playing for Bama and Nick Saban and high school promise. I'll take LSUs current and former Safeties any day of the week over that bitter shithead.

i wonder if Kwon and Neighbors feel the same way?
i don't know why everyone feels it's a players birthright to play for LSU if they grow in Louisiana.
hell, if i could have gone on "red carpet tours" to 5 or 6 other universities, i honestly may not have chosen LSU.

Thousands of Louisiana males have dreamed of the opportunity to play for their beloved state and to have collitus wipe his butte with the chance is way beyond putrid !

We have La'El this year and next year we get Teuhema.
Collins isn't as good as Jamal and are other safeties aren't exactly scrubs.
I don't really think losing either hurt us that bad. Just don't like seeing Louisiana boys going to Bama.

Probably not. Because they werent as highly recruited, for one. For 2, Bama has won so much lately, losing an in state player is irrelevant. So what happens is, they lose the 10th best player in their own state, but then go and pull the top player from Louisiana.

See this is my big thing. Why were people all over Landon Collins to begin with? Because he didnt want to come to LSU?
LSU fans are sad. This thread is proof. Not because of what Collins said, but because they still aren't over it. the same way they still curse Joe McKnight for going to USC.
For people pointing fun at Collins saying this stuff, more then likely he was asked about it and all he did was respond to the question. He wouldn;t have a pulse if he didnt want to take it to LSU and our shitty fans. For god's sake, read this fricking thread as example #1.

that is a pretty stupid way to choose the place to continue your education.

if being "that guy" means trying to be logical and looking at it from the players point of view, then yea, i'm "that guy".
i wanted Collins to go to LSU, but he didn't.
thankfully, Mills and Adams chose to betray their home states.

Whatever it takes to further the narrative, I guess.

He's a great player and a future 1st round draft pick.

Wasn't Kwon the #2 LB in the state? I remember him being hurt, though

pretty sure he was #1 and like top 50 player in the country, then got hurt, committed to LSU and slipped down the list
and if anyone wants to say that Saban doesn't let top players leave Alabama, just look at last years Heisman trophy winner
