Can Nikki and the ladies pull off a victory today?!?!? Or will this be the final game of the Fargas era? LSU is the last team out in the latest bracketology and Tennessee is the last team in!! We really need this game

Why are some parroting that Fargas is out? I don't think she should be retained, but has anything substantive been leaked that she's gone, or is it just the wishes of a few TD posters?

Didn't Alleva just give her a contract extension?

Even a win and we may not be in, collegerpi.com has us way out and Miss St will crush us if we happen to win today, but it will help our RPI. Either way I hope she is gone, 8 years is enough and while I (and most others) had high hopes when she was hired, enough is enough.

I’m not confident about this one. We don’t take care of the ball.

LSU played Tennessee earlier this year without one of their best players and scorers too

Both teams will need a lot of help even with a win today. Miss st will crush both teams tomorrow

I loved the hire; according to most, it was a grandslam for Alleva and LSU. But sometimes you have to admit that what looks initially like a grandslam is actually a flyout.

Fargas is not a grandslam. She is a flyout, and a very well-paid one for that matter.

I literally work across the street from where they're playing. Maybe I should go be one of the only LSU fans there.

Some pretty 3s. LSU up 28-26.

Not a fan of the announcer with a lisp.

Wasn't a horrible hire, just has not worked out as wellas it initially seemed. It did not help tha Miss . State and South Carolina struck gold in their hires.

When she started LSU was areasonable favorite over 10 teams, a tossup with a couple and a competitive underdog agains Tennessee. Now they are favord over five, tossup with five and underdogs against four , decisively so against State and South Carolina.

No quetion recruiting has been inconssitent and transfers have hurt advancemetn of the program. She has lost some big time recruits in Louisiana which woule have propeeled them back into the national conversation. Imagine this team with Kaalani Brown.

Wonder if they are waiting for Simone Augustus to reire from the WNBA. Even though she would have no coaching experience her name recognition would be an asset on the recruiitng front.

She needs to be fired now. I'm not sure we make the tournament as of today. We're only 16-14 and on a 3 game losing streak. Most analysts said both teams needed to win to get in. She has shown no growth and no improvement in the program. She is being paid way too much money for the results.

Seimone isn’t a people person she would never coach. I really hope Joe wakes up and smell the coffee and realize that it’s all about Nikki. She gets avg players too try and make herself look good as a coach!!! I think she finally realized with that signing class coming in she can’t do that anymore. What kinda coach runs the leading scorer on the team off smh, you can’t win many games with no shooters!! DIVA FARGAS GOTTA GO!!!
