I’ve heard he was good, but that really is impressive for someone with his build. I’m sure he can absolutely crush a drive, but dudes that big rarely have the flexibility to to consistently hit it straight.

I can’t imagine he got to play in Buffalo much during the season—he must have come home to Ruston after they finished and just lived at Squire Creek. Probably started as a youngster too. Still, it just shows what a tremendous athlete he is with obviously great hand-eye coordination. Super impressive.

Is a very accomplished amateur player. Played in most every major event as a youngster. Had the pleasure of meeting him at a tournament and watching him on range. And yes he mashes it.

Squire Creek was opened after he graduated HS. He played at Ruston CC.

I think at some point he had a house at UClub. Played a lot of golf during the off seasons.

Was coming here to say the same thing. Kyle grew up playing at RCC. He does live out at Squire Creek now. Kyle is the guy who excelled at every sport he played. He can play baseball, golf, football, and was all state in track. There’s not much he doesn’t excel at.

In high school, his teammate and I had the 2 best javelin throws in the state. Kyle had to fill in at a meet once. Practices it for about 15 minutes and sticks one within 5 feet of us. Also trying to block him felt like trying to move a full grown oak tree.

Didn't realize he was this good. Inspiring for large dudes everywhere.

KW is one of the most underrated Tigers. Hope he gets some HOF consideration.

No he doesn't and he is a good player but gets his arse kicked as he should against good amateurs. I know because I do.
