Kyle Peterson on ESPNU

Kyle Peterson is announcing the Georgia-Vandy game right now and talking about how Scott Brown (Vandy's pitching coach) not only gets incredible talent to campus but he consistently finds ways to MAKE THEM BETTER OVER THE NEXT 3 YEARS.
It literally hurts to listen to as an LSU baseball fan.
We do the opposite of what he's referencing -- we make them worse over the course of their career by hurting them.

It's baseball. Vanderbilt places alot of emphasis on non revenue sports, because they just can't compete in D1 Football and have taken steps backwards in Basketball since Kevin Stallings departure.

Well, Marceaux and Labas prove this wrong.

Anyone notice the amount of pitchers out for Georgia? But everyone here thinks it’s an LSU thing

Congrats, 2 guys. (I also might argue that Labas hasn't "improved" for 3 years. Valid points for both sides of that argument)
Not sure my fingers are ready to type how many names that support the getting hurt argument. 1, maybe 2 a year in recent memory.

Travel ball rags out pitchers arms nowadays. Happens to Vandy too.

This is idiotic.
Nola, Lange, and Gausman were first round picks under Dunn.
Poche finished with the most starts and wins in school history.
Every pitching staff will have hits and misses.
Just because it's time to move on from this coaching staff, that's not a reason to blatantly re-write the staff's history.

Then that literally proves your statement wrong.

You would literally lose that argument.

OP set the over/under on the uses of literally per post at 2. Mine just happened to be used properly.

Scott Brown is outstanding. His predecessor Derek Johnson was terrific and is doing the same thing as the pitching coach for the Reds.
Both belong on LSU's short list for the next head coach.

Fire Mainieri immediately after the season and hire the guy.

I for one, can't keep up with baseball on this scale so really appreciate info like this.
