Yup. I'm a big advocate for this. LSU should have a dramatic shift to an even bigger scouting department. This is how you compete with the money schools on NIL. If your talent evaluation/development is finding all-americans who slip through the cracks you can compete with anyone. Trust me, there's too many that slip through the cracks. The way it's going to work now is they go to small college, blow up, go straight to transfer portal to the big money schools. If you identify them in HS and have them on campus, they're not leaving LSU. We know what we have when they're on campus so if they're good enough, LSU will find a way to keep them here.
