re: Kudos to the Student Section

Why does any of this matter? The student section is going to be a bunch of idiots. You can't change that no matter how much you bitch and moan. And the people that don't stand aren't going to no matter how much you whine and complain. If you don't want to expose your kid to foul language, either buy earplugs or don't take them. There are things called sacrifices.

I love the student section and what it means, I just hate everyone that sits/stands in it. But they have just has much of a right to say whatever they want because, quite frankly, who is going to stop them? I know you won't, I won't, the administration won't. The only people that are willing to police the student section is the Tiger Band and thats not their job. I'm sure most of them could give less than two sh!ts about it. So give up on the student section. I have a long time ago and I am a student. The students will always be idiots.

P.S., I don't like the cheers that go on either. And I had no idea that they were doing that to neck. I had left the Tennessee game before they started playing it and didn't hear anything on the television.

exactly i was in the greek section and didnt hear this at all last game. stupid batman and spiderman tools on the front row in the gdi section start all this crap AND make us look retarded on TV when they show the student section.

and for those advocating the banning of students from a college football game... why should we be the scapegoat for decades of adding profanity to cheers? That's the most ridiculous bullshite I've ever heard in my young adult life(dont yall wish you were still in college??? ) Students have been doing that since the cheers began! I didn't add "kick their arse" or "a-hole" to the cheers. Yall need to take a freaking xanex orsomething(although it sounds like that already is the case based on your noise production in the games)

you made my argument...and we are by no means the "laughing stock" of the SEC. On what grounds???
dont try to say it's fuller. It's futile.last to come, first to leave...not the whole section, but it's smaller, therefore more noticeable.ETA: I'm not a greek hater at all, was in a fraternity until recently.

Beside the point though... we are getting blamed for cheers that have been going on forever. Some guy just said that the alums are the ones complaining. They are the most hypocritical bastards on earth.
