If you look at TDs

4 of the top 11 were from Louisiana in the 2017 or 2018 class. Absolutely insane amount of talent coming out of the state.

and when I say top 11 there is a 2 way tie for 5th and a 5 way tie for 7th.

Matt Miller put his Early 2021 draft today, with four Tigers making the first round.

LINK

#2 Chase
#18 Shelvin
#23 Marshall
#24 Stevens

Waddle had 33 receptions for 560 yards and 6tds last year. That’s the equivalent of three or four games for Chase.

Get out of here with that mess.

I’m pretty sure Louisiana leads the nation in NFL players per capita quite often.

Because NFL players are rated solely on stats from 2 seasons before they are drafted

Waddle was the #4 guy with 3 other first rounders last year but he is stupid fast. Will he get drafted over Chase a year from now? , no one knows so its not worth getting worked up about.

ETA: every other mock draft has Chase ahead of Waddle, Ross from Clemson ahead of Waddle too

Other than Tarzan who else is even in the conversation for 1st overall? Im not looking at the list, but I cant remember another QB out there.

I dont see him falling past the 2 spot, unless they make an exception for Stingley, that is.

yeah, Proche is his name, James Proche. But it's amazing how close Jefferson was to close in reception yardage and TD's.

Chase - 1780 yds with 20 TD's
Jefferson - 1540 yds with 18 TD's

but Jefferson caught damn near caught almost 30 more balls than Chase with Chase paying him back in having a better per yds a catch average.

Jefferson - 111 rec with a 21.2 yds a catch avg
Chase - 84 rec with a 13.9 yds a catch avg

As a WR, nobody is as good as Chase. He has it all. Waddle is a phenomenal punt returner though as we found out when he housed it on us even with his helmet almost getting ripped off. He should put up bigger numbers this year with Jeudy and Ruggs gone. Still, I think I'd have to take Chase first.
