You mean other than he fell four rounds down the draft because of his off the field concerns?

Zach was a fourth or fifth round pick two months ago. I'm a Zach fan, but just because you bought into some hype that he had jumped to the second round it didn't mean he had. His injury has played a lot more into his draft position than a flagged sample bringing up off the field issues.

Wake up! Hill had more off the field crap and he went the second round. Pro teams might drop a guy a round for off the field crap, but if you think he dropped four rounds because of a non-readable sample you are a fruit loop.

Hill didn't have issues from substance abuse and he's been good for a year

What substance abuse issues did Zach have in his three years at LSU?

I thought Hill was in court in August.

None so far, but he did have a failed (in the eyes of NFL) sample from NFL combine... Not good when that news was released a few days before draft (although I'm sure NFL teams knew weeks ago)

There was no good reason for ESPN guys to bring up shite four years old about Hill or Zach

Why?? Cause they are LSU players and it pisses you off???? They take a shot at ANYONE from ANY team... I guess we were not watching the same coverage....

You talking bout me? You think I want the program to look bad?

I'm just commenting on the idiots with their heads stuck in the sand. The entire draft world is saying that Mett had off the field concerns, but people here are in full blown denial.

They were explaining the plummet and likely parroting what they got from nfl sources. If mett was a great leader, high character guy do you imagine he would've slid with that arm? Take off your LSU glasses.

What other guys or teams did they bring up off the field crap about that happened four years ago to highlight some negative points?

When they have to go back four years to find shite about a pick they don't agree, they are acting like jerks and I don't give a shite who the guys played for, dumbass.

They didn't have to go back 4 years. The added 4 years ago to his not passing the drug test last month. They laid out a timeline as to why a guy with his talent was not taken until the 6th rd.

did they mention that Jernigan's failed drug test wasn't as big of a deal to NFL teams since he wasn't busted for groping a chick in a bar 4 years ago?

Wait, you heard that Jernigan didn't pass the drug test? Those meanies at ESPN! Why did they say that? Arrrrrgh!

Finally, you are correct.

They didn't have to, but they sure did.

Damn, but you are slow. Zack was taken where he was because of a recent surgery and his back condition a hell of a lot more than due to a failed lab test.

Wake the frick up.

so the QB at an SEC school benefited from having a good RB, good WRs, and A good OC.....

Holy shite....stop the press!

How about this?
- Bortles benefited from playing in a s crappy league
- Manziel benefited from Sumlin, Kingsbury, scheme, and Evans
- Bridgewater played in a crappy league
- etc.

Every QB that has ever succeeded playing football has benefited from good coaching, and good players around them. Look at the tape, Mett made throws that 80% of this draft can't make. It sucks that he is getting trashed by th media the way he has, especially since they haven't talked as much crap about Jernigan from Florida St. who also had "diluted urine."

To be fair... That's true........

No fricking shite huh genius? A qb benefited from having good receivers and a great OC......who woulda thunk it?

So I guess Manziel had a bad OC and bad receivers...

So people are so dumb, and others are idiots for agreeing with dumb people.

So you admit that you are talking out of your arse and don't know what you are talking about, but you resort to namecalling. OK
