KDS is really bad atm. Incurable it seems with many in the media and Miss. fans. Like a coach has never left for another school. These people have lost it.

100% blame on NCAA. Saban said it best on Gameday and LK alluded to it during the presser. The schedule that the NCAA has caused this and they are to blame. They forced these schools and coaches to make these decisions mid season, because of the timeliness for recruiting. LSU had to act fast to secure an elite coach before the signing period. That in turn cause LK to make a fast decision on the elite dream job at LSU. He couldn't pass on creating a dynasty.

Let’s say you have a really good job where you work with a good team of other professionals. Then…someone offers you a better job for $91,000,000 at a better company. NINETY ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Who in their right fricking mind would say no?

They aren’t intimidated by Kiffin at ole Miss. That’s the root cause of this.

dasssit.

That's really all there is to it.

This is our second go-round with that schedule. Many teams have not woken up to the new reality as they haven't been faced with that choice.

I can boil it down even further: $25 mil. NIL pkg. was offered to CLK. Waiting would have wasted it for him, and LSU.

100% agree, its all about timing. Neither Kiffin or LSU could sit around and wait until the season was over. Major props for everyone involved.

Lane said during his press conference, he told Sexton he didn't want to know how much money he was being offered. The big thing was nil, and nobody came close to it. But as much as lane is on social media, not sure I believe this.
