The Advocate reported “This time of year might not seem like an active one on the football calendar with no games or practices, but it’s vital to (LSU’s) recruiting…LSU has six camps in June and 21 recruits are currently scheduled for official visits as the staff forms the 2023 class.” The paper noted recruits include a 5 Star, a top 100 athlete and 4 star players.
Coach Kelly noted, “We’re going to have a number of visits coming up…so these next couple of months will be really big for us.

Orgeron should keep that trophy cleaned.

He was going to get a big extension after winning a natty like 2019 regardless of who the AD was. What coach in their right mind would ever want to come to LSU knowing they could have the greatest season of all time and then not get paid appropriately?

I will never understand the pure hate for O? I don’t care who his assistants were, he was the head coach, he made the decisions, so there’s no way it all happened in spite of him. He changed lots of things and he got his players to play hard for him. He got a lot of talent to play for LSU, beat tons of great coaches, had a good record at LSU against the best teams, never had a losing season, and won a championship.
After 2019 his drive to prove people wrong was gone, COVID19 came along, we lost all our star talent, several key coaches and the combination of all this was too much for the man. It would be hard for anyone to get through all of it happening at the same time. He had a hand in it all, good and bad. Whether you like it or not, that is a fact.
If there was a real love for O, then you’d be hearing people constantly touting him. I don’t ever see that here anymore. Thank god! But still here you are with the need to dog him. It was about LSU for most people. Letting the current LSU coach do his job without the constant venom spewed everyday about the way that coach scratches his arse or doesn’t. If he failed, great, see ya! If not, let the man do his job and get off his dick. You no longer hear anything from the touters because he’s no longer here. Take note.
