With LSU’s talent and having our first real head coach since Saban, I think if we don’t get decimated with injuries BK can compete for a SEC title and CFB playoff spot this year

You are smoking some good shite. Have you looked at our team? I’d honestly be happy with 9 wins. It’s going to be a tough rebuilding year. Kelly has a limited roster to work with this year.

He took over a team with 38 scholarship players. He’s done a phenomenal job rebuilding the roster in short order but I feel like he’s set up the fan base for realistic expectations this season. Undefeated and playoffs isn’t realistic. A 2019 out of nowhere type season would certainly be welcomed though

They are going to really surprise people this year . I told hubbie that BK puts Saban into retirement . Laugh , if you will . He will put a fence around the state . No more cherry pickin’ the best prospects . We always used to say “ If they only had a great coach ! “ Now you have it . You have a guy with a system like Saban . Just wait . You’re gonna like it ! We can’t wait !!

Maybe in a year or two we'll be competing for the West but this teams has holes. I'd be happy with 8-4
