If the big man hadn't stepped up tonight, no way LSU wins this game. 14 pts, 13 boards, 5 blocks.

He should start over Naz.

Well, they both started tonight.

He was huge. I think having him as the big man and days at the 3 helps our Size a ton.

Great game for him: waters too.

Bigby is a special player and the most important on this team.

Special K, that’s my boy

I agree 100. Everyone says we go as waters goes but I think bigby is the person who dictates how our season goes. Imo he is that important to this team. He had the length and athletics we needed in a big man to complete with anyone, wish he weighed another 20 or so lbs though

He destroyed donta hall.
KBW put all the other SEC big men on notice.

Just the rebounds and blocks would have been a hell of a game. His scoring production was icing on the cake.

MVP
Man it’s great to have a rim protector again

He was excellent tonight and the difference in the game. He had to carry his weight and that of his 6’10 frontcourt mate who is virtually useless on defense and the glass.
Thank God for Williams, because Reid’s ONE rebound in 17 minutes isn’t going to cut it. That’s a lot to ask of Kavell night in and night out

KBW is the one player that we can't lose, even more so than Waters. The rim protection and rebounds are enough, I don't even care if he scores.
Reid is like a bull in a china shop. I can see the potential in his body but a friend of mine told me that we play better without him on the court and I think I agree.

Frustrating to watch at times. Plays like a guard trapped in a power forward's body. He's shown glimpses, but his inconsistency and lack of physicality are a concern.

Think the man amongst boys has worn off and he needs to step it up. See this too much from big men today, want to play the perimeter when they need to have their arse pounding the glass. It would be different if he shot 60% from the 3pt. line.

Asolutely, this was the type of matchup we need him for. When the other team has a post player like Hurts that is a force inside, and not much of a threat on the perimeter or putting the ball on the floor...that's when KBW can get his minutes and really help us.
In the second half Avery started running ball screens to force switches putting KBW on No. 10 and he could not guard No. 10 in space and gave up a 2 or 3 layups to him in a short space. But we finally forced a steal off of that set and Avery never really went back to it, thank goodness.
But outside that KBW was outstanding. Even offensively, where sometimes he can seem a bit limited, he was very efficient last night.

Reminds me of Epps, senior season form. When they give an all-out effort, they are better than people assume.
