Damn.. breaks my heart for the kid. I've always loved Kary since he was so outspoken during the recruiting process recruiting for LSU.

Keep your head up KV5! We love you!

These are the links that keep me coming back to tRant.

Well done

ETA:

I was only a couple years older than Kary when I lost my dad. That message where he simply said "I love you daddy"... that tore my heart out and really got me for personal reasons. Memories I'd tried to bury since 2004, but are impossible to forget.

I hope Kary has the game of his life Tuesday. For him. For his dad. For his family. And I hope it propels him toward a major role in next year's defense.

May GOD bless this young man, and keep his father.

Amen.

Prayers for him, and for his family. I hope he plays a wonderful game, and I hope he finds peace with his father's passing in doing so. Wishing him nothing but the best in football and in life! #foreverLSU

It’s very inspiring to see how close the players are to each other, truly a brotherhood. The fact that he has his teammates to pick him up and push him through is awesome to see.

I hope this kid has his best game ever and leaves it all on the field. I have a feeling he’ll do just that!

I found myself a little tearful after reading this. I connected with my oldest kid through football. He was alot better than I was (all state) but we both understood how hard work and attention to detail makes a difference.

Can't wait to see him play!
