If he played for Bama, he would have been reinstated.

Agreed, because their staff and administration wouldn't have failed to teach him what he was getting into. Their brass isn't a God damn circus. Yeah, it was his fault he did it, but it is very much the staff/admin fault for not teaching him how the tests work and what he would be tested for. Hell, Alleva and F. King signed a sworn statement to the NCAA saying it was partially the compliance department's fault for not ever teaching him properly.

Wait a second now. So now we're saying that you do something you're not supposed to you know you're not supposed to do it but you try to get away with it and it's somehow the fault of the people who try to keep you out of trouble that they're not doing their jobs enough??.... Really

Trust me I think the whole thing is a shitshow with the NCAA and that the penalty is far too severe especially when it relates to how other things are penalized, but at some point we have to have self accountability for these young men and they need to learn that they need to stand up for themselves and do the right things

Not exactly. Again, he is still ultimately responsible for his actions, however, had he been educated correctly about the process, the consequences, and what is actually being tested, the whole situation could have been avoided. Remember, he did pass the test. And this isn't just my opinion, LSU signed a sworn statement that was submitted to the NCAA panel today that stated their failures to properly educate KF on the matter.
