Defense looked great of course, but the freshmen impressed me the most. They didn't look like it was their first game at all. Offense didn't have a diverse playbook, but was meticulous and are up the clock. Couldn't ask for more from etling. I was worried about the amount of carries guice had in the beginning, but he was rested for much of the second half. Hopefully we start running by committee more because Williams and CEH look like they can handle carries without losing a beat.
Just work on red zone, ST, and penalties. I have no doubt that will be the focus this week. Fun game to watch.

BYU coach said it was the fastest defense he had ever seen.

well...considering the "competition" that they are accustomed to we probably seemed like the '85 Chicago Bears D

Czech Republic isn't known for their college football fandom.

They have a highly disproportionate number of hot women there

indeed. I made it a point to watch the game in my room, but was distracted before the game kicked off at 0330.

Spent 4 football seasons either in Europe or the Middle East so I know how you feel.
ESPN3 with a VPN is a good way to go.
Could also invest in a slingbox if you know someone w/ a fast internet connection.

A better answer if you travel a lot is subscribing to ESPNPlayer.com. It is the international equivalent to ESPN3, it works in most other countries, it streams from local servers (so the speed is good), and you don't have to worry about setting up a VPN wherever you happen to be.

Yes we need guice late n games and in November more than ever. Brosette imo can be good as well. Hope he steps it up like coaches want. He looked good preinjury and some post injury. I know guice can be our Heisman candidate but I think he was tired after all those early carries. Also Canada showed me something in that game. With all the hype and everyone watching imo he saw Aranda pitching a gem and recognized that. Instead of trying to impose his creativity and take chances he played it a little safe knowing he didn't need 50 points to win.

Pretty much my take and spot on IMO. I think we will be much more creative this week, starting to unleash some of the real game plan on offense for State. Just my opinion. We'll see. I see a big win from the Tigers.
63-0 if we score less it will be because we chose to.
